SCORR Marketing’s 12th Annual Health & Life Science Marketing Trends Report Reveals Latest Industry Insights
SCORR Marketing, a leading, global full-service marketing and communications firm specializing in the life sciences, has released its 2024 Annual Health & Life Science Marketing Trends. This report delivers essential insights and benchmarks, offering a comprehensive look at the evolving life science marketing landscape.
The report provides key insights from industry leaders, including CEOs, presidents, and directors from contract research organizations (CROs), contract development manufacturing (CDMOs)/contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), software/technology companies, and sponsors. It highlights marketing goals, tactics, investments, priorities, agency use, digital marketing, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the evolving life science marketing industry.
Report findings include:
- 50% of respondents said that their companies increased trade show investment in 2024
- 61% of respondents said their companies contracted work through an external marketing agency in 2024 (compared to 71% in 2023)
- LinkedIn continues to be the highest-rated social media platform among DDS companies, with an average rating of 4.47 out of 5
- 52% of respondent life science companies currently use AI to perform marketing tasks, while 34% have previously used or have not, but are considering it
