SCORR Marketing Wins Three ADDY Awards
SCORR Marketing, a global full-service marketing and communications firm, has received one gold and two silver awards at the 2013 ADDY Awards.
SCORR Marketing took home a gold ADDY award in the Advertising Industry Self-Promotion category for its Play Dough Day promotion. One of many obscure holidays celebrated by SCORR Marketing, the promotional materials for Play Dough Day included a dimensional mailer housing tubes of the clay, a designated microsite and Claymation-inspired video titled “Bravadough.”
SCORR also won silver ADDY awards for Theorem Clinical Research’s 2013 Drug Information Association (DIA) campaign and the World Theatre JAWS movie poster.
At the 2013 DIA Annual Meeting, Theorem Clinical Research’s “What’s Your Theory?” campaign offered attendees the chance to express their theories on drug development industry trends while an artist rendered their caricature. The visitors’ theories and drawings were compiled into a book that was later published and distributed. The campaign also included animation, videos, posters and signage at the trade show as well as pre-show promotion such as a press release, email promotion and direct mail.
In order to promote the return of “JAWS” to the World Theatre in Kearney, Neb., SCORR designed a new poster inspired by the fan-favorite film. This award-winning poster design is one of the many examples of the work from SCORR’s long relationship with the theater.
“The ADDY awards earned for this year’s efforts truly speak to the expertise and high quality of work the SCORR team demonstrates every day — especially within such a competitive field,” said Ben Rowe, SCORR Marketing creative director. “We are proud to add these honors to our list of SCORR Marketing’s achievements.”
