SCORR Marketing Wins Eight Advertising Industry Awards

SCORR Marketing, a full-service marketing communications firm, has received significant peer recognition, earning some of the marketing industry’s top awards for its own work as well as for marketing communications on behalf of local, national and international clients.

Among SCORR’s recent awards are a gold and three silver awards from the Davey Awards; a silver award from the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Nebraska; two silver awards from eHealthcare Leadership Awards and an award of merit from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

“It is especially gratifying to receive recognition from our peers and professionals who evaluate the work we do against the best marketing professionals in our industry,” said Cinda Orr, SCORR Marketing president and CEO. “I’m proud of the work our team has produced.”

SCORR received a gold Davey award for an innovative trade show approach based on futuristic robots created for SCORR’s client, Zyantus. One of the three silver awards was for an interactive trade show exhibit created on behalf of SCORR client Theorem Clinical Research. The other two silver awards were for self-promotional work SCORR did as part of its obscure holiday cards direct mail campaign: one for the card created for Dessert Day and one for an animated mini-website celebrating Children’s Book Day.

Theorem was also the focus of SCORR’s work that received two silver awards from eHealthcare Leadership Awards. One was awarded for SCORR’s overall “Think Theorem” campaign and one for SCORR’s support of Theorem’s trade show activities.

Ben Rowe, SCORR creative director, won a silver AIGA award for personal work he did creating his own movie-poster-themed wedding invitation and save-the-date card.

SCORR received an award of merit from PRSA for work on the “Kearney Deserves Better” campaign in support of a local school bond initiative that passed with a large majority voting to build a new high school.
